Natural Ways To Exfoliate Your Face?
My absolute favorite is the rice flour exfoliating mask.
If you don’t feel like going to the store and buying an entire pack, you can prepare your own rice flour at home. Just take a handful of white rice and put it in a kitchen blender. Blend well, this is how you get rice flour. A handful of rice will transform into at least 7–8 exfoliating face masks.
Below, you can see how your rice flour should look like - mine is in an empty face cream container.
The next step is to separate a small amount of rice flour (about a teaspoon), put it in a small cup and add 2–3 tablespoons of water to it, then mix well and leave the mixture for half an hour. The small rice particles will soak well and the mask will be ready.
Apply the mixture to the entire face, you can even put it on your neck. While the mask is drying on your face, you may experience tingling and tightening sensation, I personally enjoy this feeling.
After you’ve spent about 20 minutes with the mask, you can simply wash it off with cool water. Perform a gentle massage on your cheeks, forehead, chin, and neck - you’ll be impressed how well rice flour exfoliates the skin leaving it fresh and rejuvenated.
The multiple benefits of this exfoliating procedure are something you will appreciate even after the initial treatment. Rice nourishes the skin, it contains healthy vitamins, amino acids, and minerals promoting skin health and improving the overall appearance,
And there’s something more - this mask also provides a strong skin lightening effect, this is what ancient geishas did in order to have bright, evenly toned skin. But if this is the effect you're looking for, you better leave the mask for about 2–3 hours. I promise you’ll notice the difference even after the first procedure!
