How Fast Does Hair Grow?

Hair growth is predetermined at birth by your genetics. Your rate of hair growth is determined by your mothers father and your father’s mother. I

Most humans grow hair at the rate of 6” per year or 1/2” per month. Of course the 1/2” per month is dependent upon whether or not you’re in good health and don’t have other scalp or hair issues.

If you’re in good overall hair, scalp and physical health expect to grow approximately 1” from your roots.

Of course there are always exceptions to every rule.

It should also be noted that hair tends to grow faster in Summer months.
